I have been working for Genero, a digital agency, for the last couple of
months
and I've done some pretty interesting graphical work. One of the works
is their logo, check it out to the right. Genero's website will be
launched soon, then
you can check it out at: http://www.genero.fi/
I also had a photo shoot a couple of weeks ago with the guys working at
Genero. To the right you can check out some of the photos.
I have also been working hard on our coming short film "The
Insignificant Truth". It has been many interesting hours working with
After Effects. We hope to get the film ready in the short future. So
stay tuned, you don't wanna miss this short film ;)
What else? I had a photo shoot with the singer/songwriter Frida Andersson at Millionaires Club in Helsinki. Thanks to Frida and Milliklubi for the photo shoot. You can soon check out the photos here at my site.

I've got very much going on this month. Music video, art film, graphic
design, concert editing and so on. If it sounds interesting you can
read about it here below. If not, you can read something else ;)
ABBEY ROAD CONCERT AT GLORIA
In the autumn of 2009 we had a big project going on with my class in
school. We got the opportunity to shoot a concert of a bigband playing
all the songs of Beatles' record Abbey Road at Gloria
in
Helsinki. I worked as the director of photography and it was very
challenging but also very interesting. The whole thing was recorded
with five cameras. I also worked with the editing and some motion
graphics and now the whole production is finally ready.
I got a very good offer about a month ago from the newstarted company
Genero.
This digital agency needed a graphic designer to work for them
and they asked me if I would be interested to do the work. And of
course I am. So now at the moment I'm designing their website and the
whole graphic profile. I'm looking forward to more projects from this
company. The website will be launched in the short future.
ART FILM ON RED ONE
I have had a masterclass about the RED ONE camera during the last
month and we got the opportunity to shoot a short "art film" with the
fantastic camera. When the heavy post production is ready, you can
watch
the film here at my site. Christopher Romberg is my one and only actor
in the film.
SOFTPIXELS' CANVAS SALES
The newstarted website Softpixels
asked
me if I wanted to get some of my photos on their site. And yes, why
not? ;) The site and company is specialized in selling canvas of the
photos you can find on their site. You can check out my pictures at: http://www.softpixels.fi/.
PLAYME TRAILER
I found a video project from last summer on youtube when I was surfing
around. We made a short trailer for the musical play Playme,
which is on at Svenska Teatern in Helsinki. I worked as the
director of photography and shot this video on Canon 5D Mark II.
Kenneth Klaile was the director of the video and Rasmus
Tåg the editor. The
trailer was shown during a couple of weeks in Finnkino's film theatres
in
Finland. Anyway you can check it out to the right.
That was the new stuff for now and I hope you enjoyed it. Stay tuned
for some more very cool
stuff! ;)

I got one of my photos published in the newest FOTOSIDAN
magazine.
It is a Swedish magazine and it's about all kind of photography
related stuff. And this time I had the luck to get one of my photos in
the
magazine.
Now all the shootings are over for our coming short film "The
Insignificant Truth". The film is a student production and
a very
ambitious one. It has been interesting to work with the director Kenneth Klaile, the
whole hardworking crew and the talented actors. I have worked as the
director of photography in this production.
Mainly the movie is shot on 16 mm film but we have also shot scenes
with a stillphoto camera, Canon EOS 50D, to take sequenses with 6
frames per second. Anyway
this is gonna give the movie a quite different and cool look.
Now we are gonna start the post production process which means many
hours in front of the computer. But I really look forward to it.
To the right you can check out some screenshots from the film taken
with the stillphoto tecnique.

I got an email a couple of weeks ago where I was told that one of my
photos of the actor/comedian Albert Häggblom was
chosen
for the Shanghai
EXPO 2010.
The theme of the exhibition is "BETTER CITY - BETTER LIFE" and they
also
arrenged some program in Helsinki at Lasipalatsis yard. They told me
that my
photo will me shown in Shanghai but also at Lasipalatsis yard. So
of course we had to check out the exhibition here in Helsinki
with my good
friends Albert Häggblom (the model) and Rasmus
Tåg
who is also a very talented photographer. I asked Mr Tåg to
take a
very funny photo of me and Albert and so he did. Check it out to the
right. You can also see the original photo of Albert under the funny
picture. By the way Albert is one of the actors in the musical play on
Svenska Teatern called PlayMe, meaning he is a very cool
guy ;)
So if you haven't got anything to do and you are in Helsinki, check out
the exhibition and my photo. Or then you can just check out the photo
like
3 cm to the right but that isn't as cool as seeing it on
the exhibition ;) Or
then if you for some reason are in Shanghai you can also check out the
photo. If so, remember to take a funny picture and send it to me. But I
don't really think any of you are there :)
Check also out Rasmus website RAMEDUS.
RAMEDUS is his own company and he is into all kind of media related.
Now the film shootings are over and they went great. The 16mm film is
now developed and the pictures look great. I'm looking forward to the
post production.
The singer/songwriter and also my classmate Frida Andersson
called me last week and told me she needed a promotion video where she
is singing live and she asked me if I could make it for her. I said
yes, of course, and we planned the shooting.
We shoot the video in the music studio in our school and in the evening
I edited the stuff me had caught on tape. The video was ready the next
evening and Frida was very pleased with the result. Check out the video
to the right and check out Frida's website at: http://www.fridaandersson.fi/
My short film AMNESIA was asked to be
shown at dvoted
Nordic Screening. It's a part of Tampere Film Festival (10-14.3. 2010).
They wanted a promo picture for the film and I didn't have
one.
Luckily the actor in my fiilm Magnus Wikström came for a visit
so
I took a nice promo picture for the film. You can watch the film here
at my website by clicking on videos.
I have in the last couple of months been working on a very interesting
film project. It is a school production so it's a quite low budget
short film
but at the same time very ambitious. I'm the director of photography
and the film is gonna be shot on 16mm film. To the right you can see
one of the excellent locations we have found for this film.
The genre is action comedy and the film is expected to be ready in a
couple of months. The shootings will start next week.
