What a year!

Year
2011 has sure been a year full of everything. It has been the most
interesting year so far. When I look back on my portfolio from one year
ago I can see that there has been some major development. I
have worked on about 30 different video productions and I have got a
lot
of photo shoots during this year. I can tell you, it has been a
splendid year!
There have been several music video shoots
with bands like
Fireal,
Swallow the Sun, Brymir,
MyGrain,
Bob Malmström
etc. Music videos are certainly something I really enjoy working with
and something I wanna get into even more. I wanna thank the
Eva Lingon
team for giving me the chance to work with such a creative team of
young
talents.
I
have also tried out a new genre of photography, which I really got
hooked on. I’m talking about concert photography. I got the chance to
shoot
gigs for
Petter,
September, Redrama,
Von
Benzo feat. Jay Smith and Sturm und Drang etc
.
Some
online magazines have also given me the opportunity to publish some of
my work on their sites and in their magazines, which has also been a
fun helpful thing for me. Thank you for that! The biggest magazine was
Ampersand
Magazine,
in which an 18 pages feature about me could be found. Big thanks to the
guys at Ampersand!
The trip to Odense, Denmark in April was a really nice experience as
well. I shot the short film
We are,
human, after all
with an awesome Danish film team. It was great to have the opportunity
to get to know these people. The film is directed by
Jarl Sidelmann
and
we are already planning the next film.

be released in the short future.
One
of the most coolest things during 2011 must have been the helicopter
shootings for the Finnish television program
Diili. I
got the
chance to work as
the assistant camera in the air above Helsinki. To see the city from
this perspective was something new for me. That was something I totally
wanna do again.
The year 2011 has sure been
something of its own kind, and I’m sure that 2012 will also be full of
challenges and great opportunities, since I already have some projects
booked in. There are at
least three different music video projects and some commercial work.
Can’t wait for the new year to begin!
